ENERGY AND POWER

The Energy and Power Committee maintains principal responsibility in discussing and addressing energy and power issues as they relate to business and economic competitiveness.  Working on the premise that sufficient, quality and affordable energy cost is essential to developing a stable and inclusive economy, the Committee’s advocacies are focused on policies that promote the continued expansion of power generation, the development of energy resources and infrastructure to meet increasing energy demands, and easing the burden of regulations that drive up the price of electricity and dis-incentivize business.
