CONSTRUCTION AND REAL ESTATE

The Construction and Real Estate Committee champions advocacies that ensure a vibrant development in the construction industry with the ability to produce buildings and spaces of high quality for the benefit of residents and business owners. The committee focuses on key issues such as building standards, permitting processes, regulations and compliance, skills shortage, the need for housing projects, and also looks at ways in which SMEs within the property and constructions sectors can be better-supported. The Committee is also expected to develop policy recommendations and/or initiate strategic programs/activities that will address the challenges and realize the potentials of the sector, among other things.
