BANKING AND FINANCE

The Banking and Finance Committee participates in the development and promotion of high quality banking standards and values, and the establishment of local banking environment harmonized with best international banking practices. It champions initiatives that ensure the access of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to financing. The Committee also analyzes and/or recommends policies on banking and taxation-related legislations and changes to regulations, procedures and rules including initiating and reviewing proposals to promote long-term economic growth and the international competitiveness of business and the economy.
